The Bristol Yacht Club will conclude its junior sailing program this Thursday with a banquet for 52 trainees at the clubhouse. The yearlong effort, praised as a progressive Nar ragansett Bay step, provided two weekly days of training in seamanship racing and ship handling. Robert R. Miller chairs the junior sailing committee and will help present certificates and prizes. Bristol reports 54 elm trees lost this year to Dutch elm disease, 34 on town property, two state owned, 18 on private grounds. Since 1952, Bristol has 153 diseased elms.
