Thomas Rose Silvia, 48, husband of the late Catherine Silvia, died Saturday at Providence Hospital after a long illness. Born September 16, 1906, in this town, he was the son of Louise Solomon Silvia and the late Joseph R. Silvia. He lived in Pittsburgh for years as a taxi driver before returning here about a year and a half ago. He leaves his mother, a son Thomas and a daughter Marjorie of Pittsburgh, two brothers Frank of this town and Joseph of Florida, and a sister Mrs. Mary Alfred of this town. The funeral will be from Charles M. Connery Funeral Home tomorrow at 8 with a Mass at St Elizabeth's Church at 9, burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
