Budget Plan Seeks $5975 for 75th Anniversary Events

Two young men from Bristol England will be guests of Rotary families here next week. A. A Edmonds chairs the planning committee. John Bryant, 25, is in sales at his family rope and canvas business and attends Bristol College of Commerce. Anthony Stirratt, 22, captain of a hockey team, studies modern history at Oxford. He comes from a printing family and will tour local industries during his stay.

At the Hillsgrove weather station the Rhode Island bureau tracked Hurricane Diane as it weakened near Narragansett Bay. Mrs Gardiner Celebrates 99th Birthday at Bristol Home

Mrs Emma Gardiner marked her 99th birthday at Bristol Convalescent Home on Church Street. Born in Thompsonville she taught before marriage and lived in Riverside and Dighton before moving to town four years ago. Her family includes four sons Harold Stephen and Edward with grandchildren and many greats.
