A public hearing on rezoning land along Gooding Avenue for industrial use ended without a decision after a joint Planning Board and Zoning Board of Review session. Most speakers opposed the plan. Town Solicitor Capone urged broader industrial zones. Further study will evaluate costs and potential upzones near St Mary’s Cemetery.
Bristol County Water Company manager Fred P. Stradling said cleaning of pipes leaving the Barrington station has boosted supply. The system is pumping about one million gallons daily into Warren, with two thirds of Warren's usage now met by this flow.
