Wood St Free Parking Plan Launches in Business District
Wood St businessmen began a free parking plan in their shopping district offering no charge on Friday nights and Saturdays in the St Marys Church lot. Nine Wood St stores between State and Bradford Sts sponsor the effort to create a one stop shopping area.

Committee to Consider Rule Change on Married Teachers
The School Committee will study a by law change after the resignation of elementary teacher Miss Joan R Burke who plans marriage this summer. American executives to visit Greece for six weeks
Robert H R Miller of Dixon Corp will join a four man team of US executives to assess technical aid in engineering quality control and distribution under the European Productivity Agency.
