Parents Urged to Support Girl Scout Troop 2
Mrs. Carl Nance urged mothers to join the troop committee and assist as leaders and helpers. She named roles for Mrs. G. H. Ricks as leader, Mrs. J. S. King as assistant leader, and Mrs. Leonard Crump as committee chair, stressing required parent involvement for success. The group outlined duties for outdoor activities, transport, safety, and cookie sales, and described the three scouting divisions Brownies intermediates and Senior Scouts guiding girls toward Second Class status.
