Lost Purse Returns to Brady Woman After Year
Mrs. J. E. Hendley of Myers Cafe Brady says she has twice lost her purse and once her bill fold in a year, with each item later returned intact. Last Saturday she misplaced it between Brady and Houston and a package arrived by mail Wednesday containing the purse with 35 cents postage paid and only that missing.

Crack Down Sought on Teen Infractions by PTA Request
The City Council heard a plea from the Parents and Teachers Association to crack down on numerous teen law infractions, interpreted as traffic violations. The PTA presidents signed the request, urging enforcement and offering cooperation. Also approved: replacing the Country Club’s 24 record machine with a 100 song box at higher rent, a $50 poster contest funded with $60 in prizes, and reappointment of Dr. G. H. Ricks as city health officer.

Jubilee to Elect 15 Directors at Meeting Saturday
Fifteen directors of the July Jubilee Association will be elected at a membership meeting Saturday afternoon. All adult residents of McCulloch County are invited to attend at 2 30 p m in the Chamber of Commerce office. The board increases from seven to 15 directors this year, a change voted by the directors last week. Cleburne Postpones Sheffield Fortunes in Theft Case

The Brady Business and Professional Women's Club launches National Business Women's Week with a weekend trip to the district B&PW convention in Abilene. Activities include a First Baptist Church service, a 6:45 AM breakfast at the Waffle Shop, a Tuesday night meeting at Miss Lucille Benham's home, a Wednesday radio program, and a Thursday evening group picnic at the San Saba River bridge.
