Bob Heard Celebrates 14th Birthday With Bowie Friends
Six Bowie youths plus Bob Heard, son of Mr and Mrs Gordon Heard, traveled to Wichita Falls for a golf outing last Thursday. They played 18 holes, chased stray balls, then dined at a cafeteria before returning to Bowie with Mrs Heard as chauffeur and treasurer. Guests included David Ramsey Kent Deaver Keith Deaver Michael Lynn and his brother David.

Pasture Tour Planned in Bowie Area Saturday
A pasture tour for interested people will be held Saturday morning June 26 in the Bowie area. Sponsored by the Bowie Soil Conservation Service County Extension Service and the agriculture committee of the Bowie Chamber of Commerce. It starts at 9:00 AM and ends by noon. A school bus will depart from the Soil Conservation office in Bowie. all are invited.
