Races at Saugus Delayed By Darkness Outcome Noted

At Saugus on Saturday several tight races were halted by dusk with results from postponed events. New England Club Guests at Parker House Meeting

The New England Club at Parker House entertained guests Mr. George L. Abbott of Minneapolis and Mr. C S Gosse of Boston with about twenty members present and Vice-President Henry N Sawyer in Folsom’s chair. Governor Claflin and Massachusetts Club members attended but no guests. The Boston Club dined at Parker's while illness forced Edward A White to chair the meeting. Captain Sloane of the Old Guard New York attended as guest and about twenty-five members were present. The Agricultural Bird and Saturday clubs also dined at Parker's. The Dorchester Quiz Club met at Young's Hotel Saturday evening.
