Prohibition Party Nominates Lothrop and Blackmer in Maine Style

Worcester Sept 8 Prohibition leaders jubilant at a record 823 delegates at Mechanics Hall assign Lothrop to Governor and Blackmer to Lieutenant Governor after intense contest. Thomas Norton and Frank Winslow were arraigned in Bonnerville Police Court for embezzling money from grocery dealer Daniel B. Hennesey. Norton waived examination while Winslow was tried. both bound over to higher court with Norton in 3600 bond and Winslow in 500 bond.
