Superintendent Dyer orders a strict probe into a Park Square candy theft by cadets. The Walker-Rintels drug store suffered about 50 dollars in damage after 25 boxes of expensive candy were taken from a broken show case near the cadet parade route.

William Chauncey French of Alves ton Street Jamaica Plain died yesterday after a brief illness from diabetes. KITTERY POINT, Mo May 29 Franklin Bond a laborer at the navy yard drowned on his way home this afternoon. His heart failed while crossing the Boston and Maine railroad bridge and he plunged into the river. the body had not been recovered by late hour.
