Sir Cecil Spring-Rice the British ambassador to the United States has leased the Parsons estate at Dublin New Hampshire as a summer embassy for the season. The return of the embassy to Dublin renews the little summer colony in the highest hamlet in New Hampshire. Former ambassador James Bryce previously spent summers there. McVeagh will be a neighbor and President Wilson will be nearby at Cornish within a short drive.

Springfield May 22 The Springfield Trolleymen Union votes 613 to 6 in favor of a strike to enforce arbitration of a grievance. The union executive board will meet tomorrow morning with Springfield Street Railway Company officials to discuss the matter.

Burke Tea Service Auction Fetches 7600 Dollars
A porcelain tea set once owned by Edmund Burke sold at auction for 7600 dollars in London on May 22. The service including a teacup cream jug and two cups originated in Bristol and was presented to Burke after his 1774 election to Parliament. The same teapot last sold 30 years ago for 750 dollars.
