Delight Sunk By Fire in Mid Atlantic Sighting
Norwegian bark Axel, sailing from Buenos Ayres, reported sighting the abandoned British schooner Delight of Charlottetown on Feb 29 at lat 4 long 7. The crew were said landed at Lisbon prior to March. The Delight was on fire with its rudder gone and six hours later flames renewed and rising.
