Daniels Eases Past Murphy In Eight Round Bout

Freddie Daniels of St. Louis scored an easy eight round win over Jimmie Murphy of Chicago in Kenosha Wisconsin. Daniels pressed from the start and controlled the pace with Murphy on the ropes. The Missouri fighter dominated rounds one two and four while Murphy landed a sharp punch in round five that briefly shook Daniels. The win places Daniels in line for a windup with Battling Nelson at Racine.
