Bernard N. Baker confirms the Leyland line and the Atlantic Transport line will amalgamate with five Leyland vessels and thirteen new ships. Charley Mendia 8 of 35 Norman street suffered a broken right arm and serious bruising. Molway claims slow pace but the child darted under the horse. The Maholay driver fled after the impact. Medical exam visited. Molway held for investigation. Sister of the injured child took him to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Stubborn Berkeley Street Stable Fire Claims No Fatalities
Firemen fought two alarms at 3 14 and 3 22 this morning to a blaze in the George and Company stable at Berkeley and Appleton streets. The two story frame building housed eighty horses carriages and hay with hostlers inside. Dense smoke hindered crews and raised fears of trapped workers though an employee later said all escaped. The Hayes estate owns the property and the loss is expected under 2500 with an automobile also damaged.
