Sapho Stopped as Police Bar Production in New York

New York March 5 The play Sapho produced by Olga Nethersole was halted after theatre managers, with Miss Nethersole, chose to withdraw rather than risk arrest. Magistrate Mott's decision followed a four day trial amid public outcry. The principals were held in $5000 bonds and an appeal is planned. Lawyer and politician Fitzgerald dies in New York cafe

John E. Fitzgerald, 56, a Boston lawyer, politician, and former official, collapsed and died of heart disease in McCornick's cafe at 272 Columbus Avenue, New York.
