The Association of the Forty-fifth Massachusetts Regiment held its annual reunion at the Atlantic House in Nantasket. About eighty veterans attended with twenty or more wives or daughters for the twenty-fifth reunion and the regiment’s 38th birthday. Officers elected include President J. H. Maynier, Luther Johnson as first vice president, Edwin Longley as second vice president, Whitcomb as secretary, R. P. Barry as treasurer, H. S. Johnson as chaplain, A. A. Kittenden as adjutant, and V. G. Stacy as quartermaster. A dress parade occurred on the hotel lawn at 12:30 followed by dinner at 1.

Ernest Parker a book agent was arraigned before Judge Fallon in South Boston Court yesterday charged with assault and battery on Margaret Dayton of 28 Athens street. Dayton testified Parker called at her home Monday saying he was a priest and asked her to buy a book. Mary Sheehan confirmed Parker claimed priesthood. Parker received three months in the House of Correction City Point and appealed.

Frank P. Rutstein aged 12 of Pembroke street Chelsea was arrested on a charge of assaulting George Cowle of 11 Grant street Cambridge with a loaded revolver. Cowle was shot in the cheek and treated at Frost Hospital where the wound was found to be only a flesh wound. Police say Rutstein showed cowboy bravado firing at a boy’s bare feet to make him dance a jig in a barn Wednesday afternoon.
