Nathaniel Herrmann, head of the Industrial Workers of the World, obtained new bail after a prior $1200 bond on inciting to riot charges. Three Greek women posted cash bonds. A wreath of flowers greeted him as crowds cheered upon his return from Salem. A town hall meeting and a 75-person committee addressed anti red flag rhetoric and planned Flag Day outreach to Greek and Polish strikers and families.

Boy Drowned in Quincy at Abandoned Quarry No SwimHint

Abdul Haddad aged 18 of 540 Washington Street Quincy Point drowned yesterday afternoon in the old Wendell swimming hole at Quincy Neck. Three companions Lawrence Beaton John Wren and John Swain aged about his own age dived repeatedly to aid him but could not recover him. Haddad who could not swim slipped from a shelf of the quarry into two feet of water and vanished.
