War Savings Stamp drive nears end in Massachusetts
With two days left in the Massachusetts campaign to pledge one million War Savings Stamps, Boston remains slow despite 75,000 canvassing women. By last night 702,000 pledges were in sight. Plymouth County led in progress with 500 pledges over its 41,000 quota. A War Savings rally on June 28 in Roxbury features former Governor Walsh and other officials, and daily meetings statewide promote liberty bonds redeemable at any time with interest.
