Yegg trio captured in the ACI
Late last night three young men were caught in the act of robbing Frederick F. Scanlon of 154 Ashland Street in the Parker West Roxbury Express Company stable. Scanlon was counting $18 when the trio entered, attacked him, and tied him up. A sergeant and patrolman from Station 17 stopped the robbers, recovered all the money, and Scanlon was sent home. The suspects are F. J. Barker, 27, Edward Mellinnes, 24, and William V. Thompson, 25.
