Collision Causes Delays on Elevated Rail Line

Several passengers fled to the street as a collision occurred when the South Boston trolley slipped from the overheard wire while Milton car followed closely. The Milton conductor was adjusting his seat when the impact jolted cars, tearing the rear platform and wrecking roofs and headlights. Traffic paused about 15 minutes.
