Washington July 4 Majority members of the Senate finance committee agreed that all schedules of the new tariff bill except sugar and wool should take effect immediately after the law is enacted. Sugar will remain on Payne Aldrich rates until March 1 1914. The wool schedule date was tentatively set but withheld pending talks with Senators Walsh and Thomas.
