Burton Holmes Lecture In India At Tremont Temple
Burton Holmes presented his third Tremont Temple lecture In India last evening using stills and motion pictures. The trip began at Charing Cross London and proceeded to Marseilles where the P and O steamer carried travelers to Bombay. The audience saw monsoon scenes on the Arabian Sea and Nautch dancers in motion pictures. The up country visit showed English army life and the latter part covered Delhi and the route thereto with views of the Purbar past and present and Holmes on empire duties. The same talk repeats this afternoon.
