Texas floods claim 24 lives across five river basins

Woman Dies After Dropping Lighted Lamp in Chelsea

Mrs. Josephine Robbins aged 30 of 60 Cary Avenue Chelsea died from burns after dropping a lit lamp yesterday morning. The lamp ignited her bathrobe and exploded, fire alarm rang, but firemen arrived after flames were out. She lived with Mrs. Cora Bruce and died at Frost Hospital.
