Man and Wife Killed in Auto Train Crash at Crossing

In South Deerfield on Aug 26 Mr and Mrs Sherman B Porter of Springfield were instantly killed when their car was struck by an express train at a Boston and Maine crossing. Bull Attack Breaks Life of Sherborn Worker in Barn

Andrew Sears, an employee at the Sherborn Reformatory for Women, was attacked by an enraged bull in a barn on the institution grounds. He fought for his life for nearly a half hour, was gored and pinned against the barn wall, and left unconscious and badly bruised on the barn floor.
