Malpractice charges arise in Mrs Farrell death case

Dr. Jacob Wales Brown faced a preliminary hearing in Municipal Court charged with causing Mrs. Lillian Farrell’s death by malpractice. Farrell’s husband was charged as accessory before and after the deed. The medical examiner said death followed an overdose of chloroform after an unnecessary operation. Brown was bonded $2500. Farrell was discharged.

Hyacinthe Ringrose sues for divorce from Lillian Ringrose on adultery grounds. The writ was served in Brockton. case set for September term in the Superior Court. Husband and lover kill and then take own life in Chicago

Frederick Sweet shot Alice Burr at 607 Jane Street and then killed himself. The 27 year old husband’s former relation to the Burrs framed his motive as revenge after she refused to leave her husband Frederick Burr.

Sister returns trigger deadly shot in Michigan

Hood's sister visited another sister in No 607 Jane Street. Sweet urged Mrs Burr to stay with him and, after she left with her husband, shot Mrs Burr in the neck twice. He then killed himself, dying instantly. Mrs Burr died within an hour at the County Hospital.

Jealous Wife Attacks Woman Aboard Cape May Car

Rebecca Corson wife of Motorman Jacob Corson attacked Mamie Gile on a trolley at Ocean pier Cape May Point after a dispute over the husband. Captain Foster and Conductor Morris restrained the fight, Corson held for trial at the next court term with bail set.

Unruly pupil leads to teacher assault on country road

Miss Lavina Tucker a school teacher in Uniondale Pennsylvania was attacked by Mrs Carpenter and an assistant after scolding a pupil. The woman was pinned and beaten with an umbrella leaving her unconscious on a lonely road. She was found by a farmer and transported to her boarding house and later to Honesdale in serious condition.

Sour Mash Charges Sparkled in Cincinnati Peace Case

In Cincinnati magistrate court a peace warrant case between Mrs. Lucy Sour and Mrs. Marie Deyhle drew laughs as Deyhle mocked Sour’s name with puns. The judge ordered Deyhle bonded after a half hour of court-room humor about sour marriages pickles and a sour apple tree.

Boy Struck by Train in Wigginville

Fred D. Danforth seven struck on the railroad near Morton street Wigginville while playing with a companion. He suffered a fractured skull and remained unconscious with only slight rally by nightfall. Doctors Hobart and Pool attended, stating a chance for recovery exists.

President and family sail off Buzzard's Bay aboard Esther

The President spent part of the day by Buzzard's Bay aboard his launch Esther with RE Benedict. The Oneida was anchored nearby and Benedict's family visited Mrs Cleveland. In the late afternoon the President and the children took their first sail on the new launch.

Pasquale Garofolo, who shot at his bride on June day, was arraigned in the Superior Criminal Court before Judge Braley. The couple have reconciled and are willing to live together, with the case continued for three months and Garofolo held in 500 to keep the peace. Where Is Jones James Kincaid Disappears From South Boston

James Herbert Kincaid, age about 22, vanished after leaving Warrenton Street in South Boston on March 7. He lived at 4 Story Street, worked for BE W Gilmore Co, and was last seen walking downtown after leaving a card game with two friends. He has light blue eyes, light brown hair, a scar under the chin, and weighs about 140 pounds. Two leading theories blame West End gambling losses or a possible romance, but police found no evidence of his whereabouts. He had previously disappeared years earlier from 60 Chandler Street.

Missing Cambridge man leaves note as wife seeks clues

A. A. Feichlin of Cambridge Street East Cambridge has been missing since Monday August 5 his wife says they ran an ice cream and dining saloon on Cambridge Street and he previously ran the Mansion House. She notes he took clothing and withdrew $150 from a local bank and sent a letter claiming he was tired of living but she doubts death.

The Sherman family reunion was held in Camden Maine with J. H. Sherman re-elected president and Dr. O. G. Sherman as meeting chairman. Mrs. E. E. Five Mile Heat Ends In Dead Tie At Scotch Picnic

The Boston Caledonian Club held its forty second annual picnic at the Caledonian grove West Roxbury drawing over 6000 spectators. Everett McClelland and C J Marks dueled to a dead heat in the five mile race with Manning third. Piper Donovan won the 100 yard dash ahead of Mack and Morris amid a day of Scottish dancing and contests.
