Fire damages large stock at Spitz Bros clothiers building
A five story granite structure at 65 to 69 Summer street was heavily damaged by a basement fire started near an electric motor. Firemen from engine 7 and ladder 17, with District Chief Ryan, fought dense smoke that reached all floors, ruining the entire farm stock worth about 400000 dollars.
