In Haverhill on August 14 Max Egelka and Simon Gaeusman two Hebrew cobblers at 142 Washington Street were assaulted with deadly weapons by two strangers in their shop. They were terribly cut and mangled on faces and hands. A crowd gathered as the attackers escaped. Police hunt the assailants and seek motive.
