A well dressed youth claiming to be James Howley aged 19 of 28 Temple street was arrested after a handbag was snatched from Miss Mary Corporan of Allston street West End at 7 30 pm near Dartmouth and Beacon streets. The theft sparked a three quarter mile chase through Back Bay aided by Patrolmen J Delaney and Morris and around a score of residents.
