Eva L. Thayer, who wed Frank V. Mapes last Sunday, returned to 114 Josephine Avenue West Somerville. She suffers a nervous breakdown and was found penniless in a New York hotel after Mapes left her. her father says Mapes previously warned against the match and later produced a falsified marriage certificate.
