Fire scares Charlestown pupils at Warren Grammar School

A pupil set fire to clothing in a dressing room while punished for mischief. Smoke caused a panic among about 600 students during patriotic exercises on the fourth floor. Fire and explosion rip Charlestown hay storage injures crews

A major blaze at a two story hay building on Rutherford avenue owned by Boston and Maine railroad and Hosmer Robinson Co caused a $20,000 loss insured. Three alarms, railsmen injured including Captain S J Ryder and Hoseman Cross. Ryder survived with injuries while Cross broke a leg.
