Dedham Man Found Dead Former Probate Official Jonathan Cobb

Jonathan Cobb former register of probate and insolvency for Norfolk county died at his Dedham home on Court and Richards streets. Born March 2 1829 in Dedham he worked in Boston and Nashville before returning to Dedham to serve as assistant register in 1862 and later register until 1944. He married Martha Sigourney Wales in 1857 and is survived by four sons Edward Cobb Los Angeles Benjamin Cobb Quincy Charles Cobb and Frederick Cobb Dedham.
