Carnag Harpoothian once a rug house proprietor on Kneeland Street and sought by two continents for two years was captured in Revere by United States Deputy Marshal Ruhl and Patrolman Walton after a half mile chase. He faced US bankruptcy fugitive from justice charges in New York for concealment of assets and previously jumped bail posting 3000 dollars in bonds.
