Italian barber shoots Gelston farmer then is killed by posse
In East Haddam, Connecticut, an Italian barber opened fire with a shotgun after blocking John M Gelston from entering his barn. He wounded Joan Gelston and was shot dead by a citizen posse led by Constable A S Bugbee. Police found powder, shot, razors, and a knife on the man.
