Elk Transplant Near Deer Lodge Reaches Thirteen
Helena December 15 The first elk trapped this season in Yellowstone Park have been released in Peterson Gulch near Deer Lodge. Thirteen elk were transplanted this week under supervision of Bert Angstman and James McClucas as park rangers report difficulty trapping in open weather.
