Local note from Bondurant Wyoming dated April 24 1918 reports Chas Noble bringing two thousand head of cattle to the range. Residents Clare Bondurant Clyde Johnson and others leave Basin to serve in World War I while James Williams prepares for road work. Stock on the range is plentiful hay remains, skiing fades as people ride horses to travel.
