Call for New Bridge at Fontenelle on County Road
The County Commissioners are urged to replace the demolished bridge over the ditch north of the Howard Holden ranch on the Fontenelle road. The existing ford forces autos and wagons through a deep swale, hindering travel and risking damage to vehicles. A tourist recently broke a gas line after slipping into the swale, delaying aid. The bridge has been repeatedly reported as out, with several dangerous spots between Piney and Kemmerer awaiting action.
