Two Highway Projects In Gogebic Ontonsgon Area Funded
More than 500000 will be spent on two highway construction projects in Gogebic and Ontonagon counties starting this summer and running through fall. The state commission announced low bidders among 20 for highway work. One project calls for 10.5 miles of paving on M-64 from Mineral River to Silver City then east on M-107 at a cost of 524507. The second covers 24 miles of South Boundary Road south and west from M-107 with a low bid of 356515 by Hocking Construction Co. of South Range Michigan, with completion by November 1.
