Bessemer Township School Board Proceedings May 10 1948
The Bessemer Township School District met at Ramsay Schoolhouse on May 10 1948. President Francis Spagnoletti and 3 members attended with 2 absent. minutes from March 16 were approved. Payrolls and numerous bills were authorized for April and May, including library staff janitors clerks teachers and retirement fund payments. Contracts for furnace repairs and coal supply were approved with The National Heating Company and The Michela Company. A budget tentative submission and audit engagement were approved. a recreational director was to be hired for summer programs and the next meeting set for June 12 1945.
