Bessemer Township School Board Proceedings May 10 1948
The Bessemer Township School Board met at Ramsay Schoolhouse on May 10 1948. Members present were Spagnoletti Smith and Wahlberg. Laine Laughner absent. Routine: minutes approved, payrolls and bills authorized, and several appointments and contracts approved including furnace repair with The National Heating Company, coal contract with The Michela Company, tentative 1948-49 budget, and audit engagement with Morrison Audit Company. A recreational director was to be employed for summer, next meeting set for June 12, 1948. Financials for April 1948 reported and adjournment following.
