Start Crystal Falls Mine Work On July 1
S. E. Sullivan of Evergreen Mines Company arrived in Crystal Falls to direct stripping of the Ravenna Pricket property. Machinery for preliminary work will arrive immediately and stripping should start around July 1 with about 25 local workers. The stripping may finish in about four months, then mining will begin in spring 1940 as an open pit operation.
