Milwaukee Men Visit Bessemer on Good Will Tour
One hundred leaders from the Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce visited Bessemer on the annual goodwill tour. They traveled in a special train of railcars and were welcomed by local businessmen led by N J. K Rulastewikes. A 35 piece band plus the high school band marched through the business district as hundreds of souvenirs were handed out. The group also stopped at other nearby cities.

Last Rites Held for Mrs. Augusta Funk in Duluth
Augusta Funk a former Bessemer resident passed away after bronchial pneumonia. She wed twice, first to Mr Loerke in 1914 and then to Fred Funk in 1908. Surviving are children, grandchildren, and siblings. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran church conducted by Rev. T. F. A. Nickel with burial in Hillrest cemetery.

Boy Scalded In Hot Water At Angil Location
Four year old Ralph Pucelo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Pucelo, accidentally fell into a pail of hot water at the Angil location. He suffered serious scalds to about half his body and was taken to Grand View hospital Saturday noon for treatment. His condition was reported as fair and about the same at the current time.

In Sessemer city and township the last Monday election elected all trustees seeking re election. Jane Q Massie and Merle Hagerman won city seats with 396 votes each, defeating Daniel J Kulaszewicz who had 333.
