Obituary notes two Bessemer area residents
Two prominent local deaths are reported. Mrs. William Morrison of Bessemer and Ironwood died after a seven month illness at age 52. Funeral services were held at Moore funeral home with Rev. C. L. Harries officiating and burial in the local cemetery. Thebert, Joseph Alfred, longtime Puritan resident and former Oliver Mining Co. employee, died at his Florence home after a lingering illness at age 53. He leaves a widow, two daughters, two sons, and a large extended family. Funeral services were held at St. Ambrose Catholic church in Ironwood with Rev. J. B. Moriarity officiating.
