Leonard M. Bejtlich of Lenox is promoted to manager of manufacturing engineering for GE distribution protective equipment department. Bejtlich, a Boston College graduate, previously led advance manufacturing projects for DPEC and before that headed advance manufacturing engineering for ordnance systems. He joined GE in 1955 and came to Pittsfield in 1966 as manufacturing engineer for the bushing products section.

Two BMC Technologists Pass ASCP Registry Exams
Berkshire Medical Center announces two medical technologists who passed the American Society of Clinical Pathologists registry exams. Mrs Walter Malec of 44 Andover St and Miss Teresa Bangalan of 741 North St earned this credential. Both are BMC School of Medical Technology graduates working in the chemistry section. Malec is Mount Holyoke College alumna. Bangalan previously worked at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for a year before returning to BMC last fall.
