Arlington School Board Advances Additions for Two Buildings
Arlington officials moved ahead with additions at Fisher Elementary and Arlington Memorial High School after minor plan changes ordered by the state. The board and Supt. Wagner planned 1,200 information brochures and a citizen meeting, while also hiring a part time teacher’s aide and approving Title I administration moves. A cooperative program with local industry was discussed and youth dances in rented school space were allowed on a trial basis with oversight.
