Sadat plans trip to Israel to explain Egypt’s views

Egyptian President Anwar Sadat said his proposed visit to Israel would be a holy job and he would go as soon as an official invitation arrives through the United States. He stressed he would speak for Egypt only, not for other Arabs, and would address the Knesset to explain views not negotiate. Begin said he would issue a formal invitation via the U.S. ambassador.

Searchers Hunt For Third Crash Victim Near Jay Peak

State police and Air Force crews comb rugged snow covered woods near the Canadian border for the third man aboard a private plane that crashed during a hunting trip from Fulton New York to Maine. Two bodies were found on a snow covered mountain near the wreckage, while a third passenger remained missing as darkness and weather delayed the search. The victims are identified as Roger Brown 34 and Arthur Mellone 26 along with Francis Tetro 38, all of Fulton. Civil Air Patrol and volunteer pilots joined the hunt from Maine to upstate New York. the crash occurred November 6.

Track Won’t Race in 73 at Green Mountain Park

Commissioner Paul of Burlington reports that after a Monday talk with the park owner Patrick Rooney, harness racing at Green Mountain Park in Pownal will not occur in 1978. Rooney said no racing is planned Jan 6 to Apr 9 despite a prior license. Green Mountain Park GM Daniel Laughlin also said no future decision before 1978.

Mt Anthony Union board approved Principal Donald Banchik to research and develop a comprehensive health education curriculum for the high school. He argued schools now bear many family duties and outlined topics including nutrition dental care inoculations and hygiene.
