No Fines Policy Gains Ground at Martha Canfield Library
Arlington readers will no longer pay fines at Martha Canfield Memorial Library after a two month trial. The policy, made permanent at December meeting, lets patrons avoid small fines by donating if they feel they owe anything. The library also offers rental books to high school students free of charge, a plan proposed by student Donolyn Hagelberg during a state librarians panel.

Emblem Club Holds Annual Yule Party
The Emblem Club held its annual Christmas party at the Elks rooms on Wednesday with 25 members attending.
