Bishop's Fund Drives Support Across Vermont 1963 Appeal
The 1963 Bishop's Fund opens its fifth annual campaign with a special business committee in each parish to gather gifts from local firms professionals and nonCatholic friends. Advance gifts target longtime supporters. last year the drive raised 265131.65 with about a third from gifts of 25 or more. Vermont Catholic Charities received the largest individual donation while allocations supported Camp Tara St Joseph College Rice Memorial High School and many welfare education programs across the state.
