Emerald Lake State Park near Dorset draws campers from across the region with 100 campsites and day use facilities. Since July 5 more than 100 families have been turned away as operations reach capacity. Visitors enjoy picnicking swimming and fishing with modest rates and no on site vendors. Future plans call for more camp sites to accommodate growing demand.
