Dr M Alfred Haynes of Vermont NAACP says the group will join a Bennington area delegation for the August 28 civil rights demonstration in Washington. He acknowledged political costs to his re election bid but stressed progress on rights of all citizens and equality of opportunity. He criticized some Negro demonstrations as self defeating while praising biracial and responsible groups work.
